Introduction to ShipSure Marine for Shore Based users

The ShipSure Marine application connects the ship and shore based operations enabling them to communicate in real time through replication .

  • For the Vessel : When the vessel logs into the ShipSure application only the modules for their own vessel will be available to them.
  • For the Office : When the office logs into the ShipSure application they will be accessing each Module within ShipSure and selecting a Vessel or a Fleet.
  • User profiles : Define which modules within the ShipSure application are available for Actioning or are Read Only.

The ShipSure Marine modules:

  • Ship Management enables the user to perform operational and technical functions involved in vessel operations.
  • Planned Maintenance enables the vessel and shore staff to report on and carry out Work Orders on Critical and Non Critical components on board the vessel using all of the modules contain within.
  • Inventory Manager enables the vessel and shore staff to work on, keep track and order Components and Spare Parts for the vessel.
  • Voyage & Performance gives a view of the current and planned destinations for vessels and incorporates Port Planning for High Alerts, Agents, Companies and more, registered near the destination ports . Direct access to the Position list can also assist the user with setting up the the delivering of orders via the use of an interactive map.
  • Risk, Safety & Environment allows for the reporting of Drills & Campaigns, Inspections, Hazardous Occurrences, Environmental Management, Job Safety Analysis, Management of Change and Risk Assessment Library.
  • Work and Rest enables the Crew member to enter work and rest hours, commit hours and for the Heads of Department to Approve / Unapprove and Combine vessel and office records.
  • Onboard Crew allows the user to view the current and reliever crew for their vessels.
  • Document Manager where important documents like Bulletins and Circulars can be uploaded sent to vessels.
  • Control of Work supports the Safety Management process to ensure tasks are carried out safely onboard with the necessary Risk Assessments (HSE), Safety precautions, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and permits to work.
  • Hotel Defect Manager where the vessel records any known defects found on the vessel and can arrange for corrective actions to be taken.
  • Sentinel predicts and manages vessel risk using an evolving set of expert & machine models protecting the vessel by predicting the likelihood of a “stop operation event” occurring.
